Antitrust allows Airports of Regions to buy 75% in Yelizovo airport
MOSCOW, Dec 13 (PRIME) -- The Federal Antimonopoly Service has approved a request of Airports of Regions, part of multi-industry holding Renova Group, to buy 533,421 common shares, or a 74.99989% stake in Yelizovo airport in the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the service said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Yelizovo airport is the only airport on the Kamchatka peninsula in Russia’s Far East that is capable of servicing aircraft with a high takeoff weight, and it services international, interregional, and local flights. Its annual passenger traffic exceeds 600,000 people, according to the Yelizovo airport.
